Terms and Conditions

Indoor Cricket:

The competition will consist of approximately sixteen weeks round robin and Two weeks of Play Offs/Finals. Total 18 Weeks. Teams are expected to play all 18 games. Game Fees must be paid as a team either for a seasons or in one team payment.

  1. The cost of each game is $96 dollars per team if paid as one full payment. Individual player payments are $15 each.
  2. Captains must ensure that their teams have paid in full.
  3. There is a discount incentive for teams that pay for a full season in advance.
  4. Please note that fees are calculated on teams playing and paying for every game in the season.
  5. There is is a game fee registration of $96 for all teams paying their game fees weekly
  6. If your team requires an early release from the league in all instances we require a minimum of 3 weeks notice. A team will only be released if all game fees have been paid.
  7. Team participation will be carried over automatically from season to season. Captains need to withdraw their teams in writing giving at least 3 weeks notice.
  8. Semi-finals and Finals. All players must be registered and qualified for teams to be eligible.
  9. The rules state that a player can only be registered in one grade per night. For fairness if your team is short on players choose a replacement from the sideline carefully. Choose a player who is at the same level (or less) than the grade you are in.
  10. Team uniforms are not compulsory. However 5 extra competition points can be gained by having a team uniform (at least matching coloured shirts) by the fifth game competition.
  • Prior to the game the Team Captain/Organiser should:
  • Collect the teams game fee and pay this at the counter
  • Confirm the teams availability for the following weeks game
  • Fill out the team registration system at the counter
  • If your team cannot play at the time allocated please let us know as soon as possible.
  • If you let us know at least 7 working days before the game is scheduled we will do our best to reschedule it as soon as possible.
  • If you let us know inside 5 working days then your team will default the scheduled game and you will loose competition points and be required to pay the game fee.
  • Teams that withdraw on the day or simply don't show will incur a double game fee.

Third Party Collection of Unpaid Game Fees.

Unpaid game fees are the responsibility of all registered players and ultimately the captain.

In the event of unpaid game fees Planet Sports will employ a 3rd party debt recovery collection agency.

All fees incurred in association with the collection of these game fees will be the responsibility of the Team/Captain and will be added to the game fee debt.

Non Sporting Behavior

If, due to the non sporting actions of players,  such as fighting, intimidation, barracking, unruly play to name but a few, teams, either their own or another team, withdraws from the competition or future competitions then those individuals and or the offending team will be liable for balance of any outstanding or lost season fees from theirs and the other team.

Captains Contract
On behalf of my team, in participating in the league I/we agree to pay all game and registration fees and to abide by both the rules of play and the house rules, including directions from the umpires, as determined by, and may be amended from time to time by, Planet Sports.

General Terms and Conditions of Play at Planet Sports

 

  • We do not tolerate abuse, verbal or physical of players or umpires.
  • Players who are removed from the centre for abuse will be banned from Planet Sports and other participating indoor centres.
  • If the actions of those players causes theirs or any other team/s to withdraw that player/team will be liable for the balance of any/all seasons fees for those teams.
